After greatly preparing for the the Race of the Minutemen, Marco Ziani only managed a 7th place on GC, which mean't 2nd on YC. Having had an off-day on stage 3, the first mountain-top finish, Marco still managed 8th place and then pulled a nice 2nd place out of the bag on the King Stage the next day. Even though these results plus a podium in Russia's GrandPrix Ochjor and 6th at VCK Classic aren't to be sniffed at, we still do not have a win. This is not the sort of season we were expecting, even though we did manage to make it to Division 3.
There has also been a new addition to the team in the form of the American Hunter Garrison. We discovered Hunter riding for the Shirks Racing while we were in the States and decided to give him a contract to prove his potential. After only a couple of training sessions, his climbing skills can nearly rival those of Ziani's, but he is nowhere near ready to lead the team yet.
We have no particular goal for this end of season apart from to win at least one race.
Bonne fin de saison à tous,

I'll think about it. I'd like to get Hunter trained first, but that's proving difficult financially.
I would TT center Ziani, it is also an investment in the team, and his RV will be higher, that will compensate some of the costs.
He's only 24. If you ever want to win jerseys with him it's a no brainer. Expensive yes, so you have to decide what's most important for you, points and money or jerseys and trophies
Well at the moment no, I haven't really thought about it that much. It's a lot of money and I don't know if it's worth it if I only do 1 or 2 tours each year.
Ziani is a great rider, wins will eventually come!
Are you planning on TT-centering him?
